Position Summary:
We are hiring a motivated Electrical Apprentice with at least 2 years experience to join our residential service team. This role offers hands-on experience in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, working under the guidance of licensed electricians. It's a great opportunity for individuals seeking a long-term career in the electrical trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with installing and repairing residential electrical systems (outlets, switches, light fixtures, breakers, service panels)
Pull wire, mount boxes, and prepare job sites and materials
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow safety protocols, electrical codes, and company procedures
Communicate clearly with electricians, team members, and homeowners
Track materials and time on work orders/service tickets
Participate in on-the-job and classroom training to meet Texas licensing requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Registered as an Electrical Apprentice with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (or willing to register immediately)
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and basic tool knowledge
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
